How to notify Marketplace of an alleged intellectual property rights infringement.

+

We are committed to ensuring that products sold on marketplace, and their product listings, do not infringe third-party intellectual property rights ("IP Rights").

If you are a rights holder or their authorised representative ("Rights Holder"), you can notify us of products or listings you believe infringe your intellectual property rights (an "IP Complaint") by submitting this form to us.

Marketplace is where Marketplace Sellers (which are third-party sellers) offer their products for sale to customers. In this capacity, We will assess IP Complaints and take necessary action based on legitimate allegations. This may involve providing the relevant seller with details of the IP Complaint and a copy of your details and either temporarily or permanently removing or amending a product or product listing from Marketplace. However, we will not:

mediate disputes between sellers and Rights Holders;
respond to, or take action regarding, vexatious IP Complaints or non-IP related complaints; or
enforce exclusive distribution agreements.

Can I report a BIG W item as unsafe?

+

We only partner with Sellers who play by the rules. We don't allow the sale of any products that breach ACCC bans or mandatory safety standards. If a product isn't up to scratch, we'll act fast to pull it from the site.

To report a safety concern, here's the easiest way to reach us:

Log into "My Account" > View & Manage Orders > View Order > Help with this item > Other issue > Proceed > Provide a summary of the Safety Issue in the space provided

Will my personal information be shared with Marketplace Sellers?

+

We'll only share personal information with a Marketplace Seller in connection with your order, including delivery of your order or any issues arising from your order. See the Woolworths Privacy Policy and Collection Notice for further details.
